Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Clemmons People Search does not retain a copy of those queries on its own servers. If you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that can include an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate information helps diagnose faults and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
These limited data help us operate the service, correct errors, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles about individual users.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to government portals, Forsyth County and North Carolina offices, library collections, and outside search tools. Each destination applies its own privacy policy. Its rules, not ours, govern information entered there. The same is true for sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
When Information Is Shared
Vendors that host or support the service may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects data in transit. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because the service has no user accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor may have submitted such information so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. As of July 28, 2026, the project research found no enacted, comprehensive North Carolina consumer privacy or data-broker deletion law. Session Law 2025-79 provides narrower protection for nonprofit-supporter information and is not a general deletion right. Because we retain little information, a request usually involves our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Clemmons, Forsyth County, or North Carolina offices remain under each custodian’s control.
