Confidential by law. G.S. §163-82.10 withholds full or partial Social Security numbers, birth dates, driver-license numbers, election-submitted email, voter-ID images, and the identity of the public registering agency. A signature may be viewed but not copied or traced except for election administration. A qualifying protected address is also withheld.
These limits apply even when the rest of a Clemmons record is public. Aggregate Clemmons data may be released only when an individual cannot be discerned. The public status of a Clemmons field also does not permit stalking, harassment, threats, impersonation, or an attempt to defeat an address-protection program.

The download for Clemmons deliberately omits birth dates, Social Security numbers, and driver-license numbers. Some former or incomplete Clemmons records are present, but a Removed record drops from the public weekly file when its most recent last-voted date is more than ten years old. That means the weekly roll is not a complete historic census of every Clemmons voter.

Clemmons Voter Roll Status Changes
Inactive and removed are not synonyms. Under G.S. §163-82.14 and federal list-maintenance rules, two federal election cycles without voting or contact trigger a confirmation mailing. No response moves the voter to inactive status. Removal follows only after two more federal cycles without activity, creating an eight-year sequence. A removed person who confirms uninterrupted residence in Forsyth County can be reinstated.
For a Clemmons record, other maintenance routes are distinct. Death matches, a felony sentence, a move, duplicate registration, a voter request, a successful challenge, or other ineligibility can alter the Clemmons record. Missing one election is not enough. State officials reported 498,889 removals in the first quarter of 2025, including 419,937 after the inactive-cycle process, but that statewide total does not state a Clemmons count.

Historical Clemmons Voter Records
Current profiles and ten-year participation files do not replace old poll books or registration registers. No official catalog found in the Clemmons research enumerated the exact Forsyth years for those sets. The honest route starts with the county election office, then moves to the State Archives county records guide and the Forsyth County Public Library’s North Carolina Collection.
Ask for Clemmons election registers, poll books, precinct materials, or county record groups by year and place. Older Clemmons names may also appear under Clemmonsville.
